Hi my name is Miguel Mendoza and on May 4th 2011 I had an above the knee amputation. After the surgery it was a rough time for me and my family. I knew right off the bat I would need a prosthetic limb. Of course there was lots of places that would offer the prosthetic limb, but finally I was unable to afford a prosthetic limb. I traveled out of the state to get work as well on getting a prosthetic limb that is. Once again I was rejected on another attempt at a payment plan. After going around looking for a prosthetic limb, I was sadly getting ready to give up hope and accept the fact that I would not get a prosthetic limb anytime soon. But I tried to remain somewhat optimistic and most of all have faith.
One day when I least expected it, I received a call from my social worker that Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics was willing to help me in my tough situation. So I was very happy and ready to see what Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics was going to do to help.
Once I went into the office of Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics, I realized they wanted to do everything to help me receive a prosthetic limb, I was willing to cooperate with them fully. They worked their hardest each and every day at the office of Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics day in and day out until they finished making and finalized my prosthetic limb.
They called me on the day of December 23rd, 20011 to show me all their hard work and to give me my first prosthetic limb that was made for me. I was so very grateful and a thank you was not enough for them. They gave me the gift to walk on my own two feet again and I think God should and will reward them for that. Thanks to Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics, I can be confident again. Thanks to Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics I have faith of going back to work. But most of all thanks to Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics I can walk again and that is a blessing. Thank you so very much Prince William Orthotics and Prosthetics, all of you deserve awards and medals for all you have done. All of you are great and do your jobs very well. I cannot thank you enough. But once again thank you so very much. May God bless every one of you.
Keeping making miracles happen
Miguel Mendoza
